Inhalt

Difficult coworkers are a drag. In this course, adapted from the popular podcast How to Be Awesome at Your Job, host Pete Mockaitis interviews Robert Sutton, who studies organizational change, leadership, innovation, and workplace dynamics. Professor Sutton shares his expertise on confronting, coping with, and forgiving jerks at work. Learn how to reduce your exposure to unhelpful coworkers, and adopt mind tricks to cope when you're forced into interactions with them. You might also try defusing difficult coworkers with kindness-as Ben Franklin found, asking a favor can actually improve a bad relationship. If that doesn't work, Sutton says you shouldn't be afraid to fight back. He closes with some tips for standing up for yourself and others. This course was created by Pete Mockaitis of How to Be Awesome at Your Job. We are pleased to offer this training in our library.
